Studies to Develop the Health TAPESTRY Pragmatic RCT for Older Adults
- Persona Scenarios – This was a qualitative process where patients, health care providers, volunteers, and community organization members worked together to help co-develop the proposed intervention for older adults through imagined scenarios.
- Health TAPESTRY-Older Adults (TAP-OA) Pilot – This was a 16-week pilot study in the Hamilton site that used developmental evaluation to understand the experiences of the varied stakeholders within Health TAPESTRY and to adapt the approach to best fit all stakeholders involved.

Program decisions were tracked and retrospectively analyzed to catalogue learnings in the developmental stage. This allowed for rapid response to address real-time issues in the pilot and allow stakeholders to contribute to the intervention’s design.
